For over 50 years, University of Extension/4-H, Platte County and Platte County Agricultural Mechanical and Stock Association (PCAMSA) strive to engage youth. 4-H is a positive youth development organization that engages youth ages 5-18 in leadership, citizenship and life skills. 4-H is a program of University of Missouri Extension.
Hundreds of great exhibits made by 4-Hers through the year will be on display at the fair in the air conditioned exhibit building. Hands on educational youth activities are scheduled each evening of the fair from 4-9pm. Platte County Livestock Booster Club presents the Junior Livestock Show on July 22-24. Open to all exhibitors 21 years and younger, PeeWee shows included. Sheep and Goat Show-Friday, Swine and Small Animal- Saturday, Cattle on Sunday. Each day shows start at 8:30am, check in 7:00-8:00am.
